# Oriveo vs RouterChat

The clearest difference is rating: RouterChat at 4.9 against Oriveo's 4.2. RouterChat also leads on monetization model (free vs freemium) and ratings volume (43 vs 5). Oriveo's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs every 9 days) and iOS requirement (18.0 vs 26.0). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Oriveo sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and RouterChat sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

RouterChat holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: RouterChat has 43 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

Oriveo ships an update every 3 days, RouterChat every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
