# Focusly vs spudnote

The clearest difference is update cadence: spudnote at every 5 days against Focusly's every 10 days. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Focusly sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and spudnote sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Focusly ships an update every 10 days, spudnote every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
