# Location? vs PatrolAxis Navigation

The clearest difference is monetization model: PatrolAxis Navigation at free against Location?'s free with in-app purchases. Location?'s advantage is ratings volume (6 vs 1). On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Location? sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per year and PatrolAxis Navigation sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Location? against 5.0 for PatrolAxis Navigation. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Location? has 6 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
