# TransferBay vs Granite

The clearest difference is update cadence: Granite at weekly against TransferBay's monthly. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TransferBay sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and Granite sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $129.00 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
