# Frames vs MovIsland

The clearest difference is ads: Frames at none against MovIsland's shown. MovIsland's advantage is update cadence (every 10 days vs every 5 weeks) and chart position (#59 vs unranked). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Frames sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and MovIsland sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Frames ships an update every 5 weeks, MovIsland every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 31, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
