# MassMetrics vs Walkful

The clearest difference is ads: Walkful at none against MassMetrics's shown. MassMetrics's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs every 9 days) and iOS requirement (16.4 vs 18.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MassMetrics sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Walkful sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

MassMetrics ships an update every 4 days, Walkful every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
