# Patch Systems vs Accelerated

The clearest difference is rating: Patch Systems at 5.0 against Accelerated's 3.2. Accelerated's advantage is ratings volume (11 vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Patch Systems holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Accelerated has 11 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Patch Systems ships an update every 2 weeks, Accelerated weekly. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
