# BiteWise vs Filexy

The clearest difference is ads: BiteWise at none against Filexy's shown. Filexy's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs every 3 weeks). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. BiteWise sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days and Filexy sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

BiteWise ships an update every 3 weeks, Filexy every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 5, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
