# Second Brain vs Until

The clearest difference is update cadence: Until at every 3 weeks against Second Brain's every 3 months. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Second Brain sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Until sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Second Brain ships an update every 3 months, Until every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
