# LockNote vs Note1

The clearest difference is update cadence: LockNote at every 3 days against Note1's every 2 weeks. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. LockNote sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Note1 sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

LockNote ships an update every 3 days, Note1 every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and September 19, 2026 respectively.
