# Par vs Volley Connect

The clearest difference is update cadence: Volley Connect at every 2 days against Par's every 5 days. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Par sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Volley Connect sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $24.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Par ships an update every 5 days, Volley Connect every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on September 27, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
