# Ayro vs First Gear

The clearest difference is ads: Ayro at none against First Gear's shown. Ayro also leads on ratings volume (32 vs 3). On price, rating, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Ayro sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days and First Gear sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for Ayro against 4.7 for First Gear. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Ayro has 32 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.
