# Flight Radar vs ARDAR

The clearest difference is rating: Flight Radar at 5.0 against ARDAR's 4.6. Flight Radar also leads on update cadence (every 4 days vs every 10 days) and iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.0). ARDAR's advantage is monetization model (free vs freemium) and ratings volume (11 vs 2). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Flight Radar sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and ARDAR sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Flight Radar holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ARDAR has 11 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Flight Radar ships an update every 4 days, ARDAR every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
