# MOD PRO vs HSL Training

The clearest difference is ads: MOD PRO at none against HSL Training's shown. HSL Training's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 4 weeks). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MOD PRO sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $399.00 per month and HSL Training sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

MOD PRO ships an update every 4 weeks, HSL Training weekly. The most recent releases landed on September 30, 2026 and September 23, 2026 respectively.
