# Rakou vs Eagle

Rakou and Eagle both sit at 5.0 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of Rakou's written reviews are positive against 67% of Eagle's. Eagle's advantage is ratings volume (172 vs 4) and update cadence (every 2 days vs every 5 days). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Rakou sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days and Eagle sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Rakou holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Eagle has 172 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 100% of Rakou's written reviews are positive against 67% of Eagle's.

Rakou ships an update every 5 days, Eagle every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 31, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
