# Clink vs Flock Camera

The clearest difference is rating: Flock Camera at 4.7 against Clink's 3.9. Flock Camera also leads on monetization model (free vs paid). Clink's advantage is review sentiment (74% vs 50%) and update cadence (every 3 days vs every 2 weeks). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Clink sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Flock Camera sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Flock Camera holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.9. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 37 and 10 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 74% of Clink's written reviews are positive against 50% of Flock Camera's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Clink ships an update every 3 days, Flock Camera every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
