# StitchWIP vs Purl

The clearest difference is update cadence: Purl at every 2 days against StitchWIP's every 6 days. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. StitchWIP sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Purl sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

StitchWIP ships an update every 6 days, Purl every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on September 20, 2026 and September 9, 2026 respectively.
