# Flyby vs Drone Forecast

The clearest difference is update cadence: Flyby at every 8 days against Drone Forecast's every 2 months. Drone Forecast's advantage is iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Flyby sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and Drone Forecast sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Flyby ships an update every 8 days, Drone Forecast every 2 months. Both last shipped on November 5, 2026.
