# iNote vs NoteGuide

The clearest difference is update cadence: NoteGuide at every 2 days against iNote's weekly. NoteGuide also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. iNote sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and NoteGuide sells 6 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

iNote ships an update weekly, NoteGuide every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on September 28, 2026 and September 21, 2026 respectively.
