# CTRL vs Solys

The clearest difference is ads: CTRL at none against Solys's shown. Solys's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs every 3 weeks). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. CTRL sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Solys sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

CTRL ships an update every 3 weeks, Solys every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 5, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
