# Forma vs Bean Tracker

The clearest difference is update cadence: Forma at every 4 days against Bean Tracker's every 2 weeks. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Forma sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Bean Tracker sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Forma ships an update every 4 days, Bean Tracker every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 4, 2026 and September 28, 2026 respectively.
