# Forma vs Grid

The clearest difference is update cadence: Forma at every 4 days against Grid's every 2 weeks. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Forma sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Grid sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Forma ships an update every 4 days, Grid every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 31, 2026 and November 6, 2026 respectively.
