# LiftTags vs Macro

The clearest difference is update cadence: LiftTags at every 4 days against Macro's every 11 days. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. LiftTags sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Macro sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

LiftTags ships an update every 4 days, Macro every 11 days. The most recent releases landed on October 5, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
