# Inkroll vs Papyrus

The clearest difference is update cadence: Papyrus at every 4 days against Inkroll's every 2 weeks. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Inkroll sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Papyrus sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Inkroll ships an update every 2 weeks, Papyrus every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
