# Terracatch vs Animadex

The clearest difference is ads: Terracatch at none against Animadex's shown. Terracatch also leads on iOS requirement (16.0 vs 18.0). Animadex's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs every 3 weeks). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Terracatch sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and Animadex sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Terracatch ships an update every 3 weeks, Animadex every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
