# Aster vs Pausa

The clearest difference is update cadence: Pausa at every 2 days against Aster's every 2 months. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Aster sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month and Pausa sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Aster ships an update every 2 months, Pausa every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
