# Eterna vs TheDay Disposable Camera Event

The clearest difference is update cadence: Eterna at fortnightly against TheDay Disposable Camera Event's monthly. Eterna also leads on iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Eterna sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and TheDay Disposable Camera Event sells 8 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Eterna ships an update fortnightly, TheDay Disposable Camera Event monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
