# Scribl vs ConsultGym

The clearest difference is update cadence: ConsultGym at every 4 days against Scribl's fortnightly. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Scribl sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and ConsultGym sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $5.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Scribl ships an update fortnightly, ConsultGym every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 26, 2026 respectively.
