# PL vs AI

The clearest difference is update cadence: AI at weekly against PL's every 2 months. PL's advantage is iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PL sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month and AI sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

PL ships an update every 2 months, AI weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
