# CTRL vs Modstack

The clearest difference is iOS requirement: CTRL at 13.0 against Modstack's 15.0. On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. CTRL sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and Modstack sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

CTRL ships an update every 6 days, Modstack every 8 days. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
