# Text Editor vs Feedglot

The clearest difference is update cadence: Feedglot at every 2 weeks against Text Editor's every 3 months. Text Editor's advantage is iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Text Editor sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Feedglot sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Text Editor ships an update every 3 months, Feedglot every 2 weeks. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
