# RunAstra vs Élan

The clearest difference is update cadence: Élan at every 2 days against RunAstra's every 9 days. RunAstra's advantage is device support (3 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. RunAstra sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $3.99 per month and Élan sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

RunAstra ships an update every 9 days, Élan every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and November 6, 2026 respectively.
