# Pinlet vs Hourline

The clearest difference is monetization model: Pinlet at free against Hourline's freemium. Hourline's advantage is ratings volume (14 vs 1) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Pinlet sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Hourline sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Pinlet against 4.9 for Hourline. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Hourline has 14 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

Pinlet ships an update weekly, Hourline every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on November 5, 2026 and November 6, 2026 respectively.
