# UCAT vs BursaSearch

The clearest difference is update cadence: BursaSearch at every 6 days against UCAT's every 2 weeks. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. UCAT sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and BursaSearch sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

UCAT ships an update every 2 weeks, BursaSearch every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on September 28, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
