# MetricSmith vs FixCalc

The clearest difference is update cadence: MetricSmith at every 4 days against FixCalc's weekly. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MetricSmith sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and FixCalc sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

MetricSmith ships an update every 4 days, FixCalc weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
