# Aura vs Widgnest

The clearest difference is ads: Aura at none against Widgnest's shown. Aura also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). Widgnest's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs every 4 weeks). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Aura sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Widgnest sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Aura ships an update every 4 weeks, Widgnest every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
