# Aura vs Elements

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Aura at none against Elements's 3. Aura also leads on ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 26.0). Elements's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs every 2 months). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Elements sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Aura asks for nothing beyond the download.

Aura ships an update every 2 months, Elements every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 4, 2026 respectively.
