Dominex
Read full descriptionHide full description
Grow your kingdom. Break theirs at the seams. Dominex is focused, turn-based territory strategy for one player against five computer rivals. Every connected kingdom keeps its own treasury and defense. One border capture can increase your income, join two kingdoms, split a rival's economy, or expose its capital. Take your time over every move. Undo and redo any move until you end your turn. Step away anytime and resume where you left off. Dominex plays offline, and four new maps are generated on your device every day—one free, all four with Premium. Capture land for income. Combine units to cross stronger borders. Defend the territory holding your kingdom together. Stronger units cost more to maintain; if a kingdom cannot pay, it goes bankrupt. Choose your opening with the Starting land slider. Begin with scattered kingdoms or fewer, larger ones, and preview every player's exact land before starting. Larger kingdoms also start with more gold. Read your rivals' economies as well as your own. Tap any rival kingdom to inspect its gold, income, and upkeep. Review bankruptcy warnings before ending a turn, undo a purchase that leaves you short, and see why units were lost to upkeep. Master every Core map at every level. Stats counts your wins toward 16 goals across four Core maps and four difficulty levels, and tracks your win rate, streaks, and fewest-round wins from Classic starts. Finish a daily map each day to build your streak, and look back at the final board of every new match. Share a daily or bonus map result to send a friend the same challenge, with its difficulty and Starting land. Friends can play shared challenges without Premium, on the web or in the iOS app. Every match stays single-player. Climb the optional daily leaderboard. Join with a nickname, conquer the free daily map on Casual or Legend in as few rounds as you can, and see where you rank on one shared board, Legend conquests first; every ranked win is checked by replaying it. Each free daily map has a par, the rounds the computer took to win it in your place, so you know what to beat. When your last turn can take every hex left, Win now finishes the conquest for you and keeps the most gold. Once a day's leaderboard closes, watch its best conquests. Watch your own last 20 matches again move by move, and share a replay link anyone can open in a browser. Features • One player against five computer rivals • Casual, Normal, Veteran, and Legend difficulty—all free • Starting land choices with a live opening preview • Rival finances and clear bankruptcy warnings • Daily result sharing with playable challenge links • Optional daily leaderboard of Casual and Legend conquests, with par • Replays of your last 20 matches, shareable by link • Stats with streaks, best wins, and final boards • Four hand-crafted Core maps • Four on-device daily maps, one free each day • Automatic saving and one-tap resume • Offline play with no account and no ads • One-time tips and an in-match rules reference • Opponent turns at your choice of pace, with every capture outlined • Soft sound and quiet match music, with one switch • Map library with 105 classic Slay Islands maps, free • High-distinction board colors and cues beyond color • Touch-first controls and haptics for iPhone and iPad Start with four Core maps, one new daily map, 105 hand-picked classic Slay Islands maps, and every difficulty level free. Dominex Premium is one lifetime purchase, not a subscription. It opens all four daily maps every day and a new picture-shaped bonus map each week, with its own weeklong leaderboard, and lets you play the daily maps from any earlier day. Your results and daily history stay visible without Premium. Try the map editor for free: draw a 35 × 24 battlefield from scratch or edit a copy of a Core or classic map. Premium lets you save and play your own maps. Your next kingdom is ready.

A peaceful village by day. Eyes in the darkness by night. Take hold of the light and help your villagers reach dawn. Glowhold is a village-defence strategy game made for one-finger controls. Drag to guide your beam, repel enemies and herd them towards torches and towers. Lift your finger to replenish oil. When danger closes in, spend oil on a brilliant flare. BUILD YOUR HAVEN Repair walls and improve buildings between nights. Each in-game day gives you one building action, so choose what your village needs most. Zoom in and tap a building to learn what it does. Villagers bring the valley to life with little speech bubbles. MEET THE CREATURES OF THE DARK Different enemies call for different tactics. Five bosses have their own abilities, with tougher encounters as you progress. Your first boss arrives on night 10, followed by a boss every 5 nights. An in-game guide and bestiary help you prepare. COME BACK TO YOUR VILLAGE Gather sparks while you are away. Starting on night 4, a daily quest gives you another challenge: a new one arrives once per calendar day, at local midnight. Open the quest panel for its full description and the next refresh time. Losing a night does not erase your village. PLAY YOUR WAY • Short nights, touch controls and a storybook landscape. • Polish and English, on iPhone and iPad. • Core gameplay works offline with no account. • Local saves with manual village-code export and import. • No energy system and no subscriptions. Optional rewarded ads require internet and depend on availability. One permanent Glowhold Premium purchase lets you claim eligible bonuses without watching ads, and adds a daily streak shield, an ember beam colour and decorative statue plinths. Reward conditions and limits still apply. The core game remains available without a purchase. Verdict
The clearest difference is ads: Dominex at none against Glowhold's shown. On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.
