# Patterning vs Sequentia

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Sequentia at 100% against Patterning's 67%. Patterning's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and update cadence (every 3 days vs every 11 days). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Patterning sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Sequentia sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Patterning holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 12 and 10 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of Patterning's written reviews are positive against 100% of Sequentia's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Patterning ships an update every 3 days, Sequentia every 11 days. Both last shipped on November 5, 2026.
