Super Serrated vs Aethron

Super Serrated stacks up to 11 detuned saw waves per voice into huge, wide supersaw leads, pads, and basses. Play it as a standalone synth or load it as an AUv3 plugin in GarageBand, Logic Pro, Cubasis, AUM, Drambo, and other compatible hosts. Sliders instead of knobs keep the whole patch readable at a glance. Oscillator, filter, envelopes, LFOs, modulation, and voice controls are always within reach, with live visual feedback for the envelopes, filter, and LFOs. We play Super Serrated on our live electronic music streams alongside hardware synths. It's made for classic trance, EDM, and synthwave leads, wide pads and stacked chords, detuned unison basses, and brassy stabs. OSCILLATOR - Stereo supersaw oscillator with 1 to 11 saws - Detune, stereo width, unison mix, octave, and level controls - Sine sub-oscillator - Per-voice white noise VOICES - Up to 16 voices, shared between polyphony and unison - Unison adds extra detune spread - Poly, mono, and legato modes - Portamento for glides FILTER - Resonant ladder-style filter, 12 or 24 dB/octave - Low-pass, high-pass, and band-pass modes - Drive and bass boost MODULATION - Two ADSR envelopes - Two LFOs with sine, triangle, saw, square, and random shapes - Free-running or tempo-synced LFO rates - LFO depth, smoothing, bipolar/unipolar range, and reset on note - Modulation matrix with 7 routing slots PLAYING & CONNECTIVITY - Velocity, pitch bend, mod wheel, and channel aftertouch - USB, wired, and Bluetooth MIDI controllers - USB audio interfaces - Runs on iPhone, iPad, and Mac with Apple silicon

Aethron is a minimal oscillator instrument for observing sound as waveform. Rather than a full music production app, Aethron is designed as a small sonic device for touching, layering, and reshaping oscillating sound. Add oscillators, tune frequency and amplitude, switch waveforms, invert polarity, sync phases, randomize signal states, and store the sounds you discover. Features * Multiple oscillators * SINE / SAW / TRI / SQR waveforms * Frequency and amplitude control * Fine frequency adjustment * SUM / SPLIT waveform display * RANDOM signal generation * POL +/- polarity inversion * SYNC phase reset * SOLO monitoring * STATES / STORE for saving setups * Automatic restoration of the last oscillator state Aethron is not a conventional synthesizer or a waveform viewer. It is a small instrument for touching invisible vibration through sound and waveform.
