# SFD vs Wrighter

The clearest difference is update cadence: Wrighter at every 3 days against SFD's every 8 days. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SFD sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Wrighter sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SFD ships an update every 8 days, Wrighter every 3 days. Both last shipped on November 5, 2026.
