# Notelux vs Tela

The clearest difference is ads: Tela at none against Notelux's shown. Tela also leads on device support (5 vs 3). Notelux's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 4 weeks) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Notelux sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Tela sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Notelux ships an update every 2 weeks, Tela every 4 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
