# STEMReader vs Syrinx

The clearest difference is device support: STEMReader at 3 against Syrinx's 1. Syrinx's advantage is iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.4). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. STEMReader sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Syrinx sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
