# Reprise vs SnapNotes

The clearest difference is review sentiment: SnapNotes at 100% against Reprise's 56%. SnapNotes also leads on ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17). Reprise's advantage is ratings volume (389 vs 5) and rating (4.5 vs 4.2). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Reprise sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days and SnapNotes sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Reprise holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Reprise has 389 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 56% of Reprise's written reviews are positive against 100% of SnapNotes's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Reprise ships an update every 6 days, SnapNotes every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
