# Colony Flow! vs Jewel Loop

The clearest difference is update cadence: Colony Flow! at every 3 days against Jewel Loop's fortnightly. Colony Flow! also leads on chart position (#10 vs unranked) and ratings volume (33K vs 4.2K). Jewel Loop's advantage is review sentiment (49% vs 32%) and rating (4.9 vs 4.7). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Colony Flow! sells 14 one-off in-app purchases and Jewel Loop sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Jewel Loop holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Colony Flow! has 33K ratings behind it against 4.2K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 32% of Colony Flow!'s written reviews are positive against 49% of Jewel Loop's.

Colony Flow! ships an update every 3 days, Jewel Loop fortnightly. Both last shipped on October 16, 2026.
