# Lura CarMode vs iSub Player

The clearest difference is update cadence: iSub Player at fortnightly against Lura CarMode's every 4 months. iSub Player also leads on device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.5 vs 17.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Lura CarMode sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month and iSub Player sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Lura CarMode ships an update every 4 months, iSub Player fortnightly. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
