# Riichi Log vs Couch Remote

The clearest difference is update cadence: Riichi Log at every 2 weeks against Couch Remote's every 3 weeks. Couch Remote's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Riichi Log sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Couch Remote sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Riichi Log ships an update every 2 weeks, Couch Remote every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
