# PetRocky vs TamaShell

The clearest difference is ads: TamaShell at none against PetRocky's shown. PetRocky's advantage is update cadence (every 2 days vs monthly). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PetRocky sells 9 one-off in-app purchases and TamaShell sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

PetRocky ships an update every 2 days, TamaShell monthly. Both last shipped on October 31, 2026.
