# Dayfly vs nu

The clearest difference is update cadence: Dayfly at fortnightly against nu's monthly. nu's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Dayfly sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and nu sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Dayfly ships an update fortnightly, nu monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 4, 2026 respectively.
