# Sumward vs Sortello

The clearest difference is ads: Sumward at none against Sortello's shown. Sumward also leads on iOS requirement (15.1 vs 18.0). Sortello's advantage is update cadence (daily vs every 3 weeks). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Sumward sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Sortello sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Sumward ships an update every 3 weeks, Sortello daily. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
